Penn State has more than 1200 clubs and organizations that span all types of interests. The Political Science Department is home to Pi Sigma Alpha, the only honor society for college students majoring in political science and government in the United States. The organization’s mission is to promote excellence in the study of political science through a variety of programs that provide awards, scholarships, lecture funding, and other benefits for members, chapters and political scientists.
