Prof. Ray Block, Andrene Wright, postdoctoral fellow, and Mia Powell, graduate student’s essay has been published at The Conversation. Ray, Andrene, and Mia wrote an essay based on a large-scale survey my team at the African American Research Collaborative conducted this past fall. The essay showcases results about the role that feelings of “fear” and “hope” played during the 2022 midterm elections. Acting Director, McCourtney Institute for Democracy and Associate Research Professor of Political Science, Christopher Beem’s research on the need for citizens to fight to save their democracy was cited in the essay.
