Penn State Students Conduct Exit Polling on Election Day

Under the direction of Justin Crofoot, assistant teaching professor of political science, 16 Penn State students spent Election Day conducting exit polling throughout Centre County.

Respondents were asked about their voting decisions, issues important to them, attitudes toward democracy, and civic engagement.

Exit poll results will be used to research political attitudes across voters in Centre County and Pennsylvania, teach students about surveys and data analysis, and engage with the community about the topics most important to them.
