Nelson Wins SPSA Neal Tate Award

Congratulations to Professor Michael Nelson whose paper, “The Costs of Court Curbing: Preliminary Evidence from the Latin American Public Opinion Project” (coauthored with Amanda Driscoll, Florida State) has won the Neal Tate Award from the Southern Political Science Association. The Neal Tate Award is given to the author(s) of the Best Paper on Judicial Politics presented at the Annual Meeting from the previous year. This paper is based on their NSF-funded project on the public’s responses to court curbing attempts in the United States and Latin America.
