Sheng-Hui Tseng is a third-year graduate student in comparative politics and women's, gender, and sexuality studies. Before coming to Penn State, she received her B.A. in Political Science from National Chengchi University, Taiwan, and her M.A. in Political Science from National Taiwan University, Taiwan.

Her research interests include gender politics and comparative politics,  with a focus on political representation and political participation of women in East Asia. Her working projects include a case study on sexual harassment against women in politics in Taiwan, an empirical study on the theoretical debates on substantive representation of women, and a pilot study on oral argument in the Constitutional Court in Taiwan.
