Professional Bio

Jiahui Xu is a first-year graduate student in Comparative Politics. She joins Penn State from New York University, where she studied politics. Her research interests focus on the effectiveness of different forms of propaganda and whether propaganda related to international affairs can bolster domestic mass support. A fun fact about her is that she is afraid of birds.
