Professional Bio

Danielle Beavers is a first year graduate student in
American Politics and Political Methodology, and
is interested in pursuing a dual title in Social Data
Analytics. She completed her Masters degree in
Political Science at the University of Iowa this
Spring 2023. The year prior, she worked as a
Fiscal Legislative Analyst for the Iowa State
Legislature. She graduated from the University of
Iowa with a B.S. in Political Science, a B.A. in
Economics, and a minor in Spanish from the
University of Iowa. Her research interests are in
federal and state institutions, and public policy. In
her free time, Danielle enjoys rock climbing,
making jewelry, and drawing. A fun fact about
Danielle is that she has an identical twin, Deidre!
