Anil Kuleli is a PhD student at Pennsylvania State University. His major field is Comparative Politics. He has a BA degree in International Studies from Sabanci University, Istanbul, and an MA degree in International Relations from Bilkent University, Ankara. His main research interests are party politics and polarization, especially in authoritarian settings. His current research focuses on coalition dynamics in electoral autocracies and how governments leverage cross-cutting cleavages to prevent opposition coordination.
