Congratulations to Prof. Cyanne E. Loyle who has been awarded a collaborative grant through the Minerva Program at the US Department of Defense to continue her work on contested governance in armed conflict. This project with University of Maryland, Emory University, Texas A&M, and Carleton University will focus on the ways in which different governance actors compete and cooperate over the issue of climate change. Their research offers new frameworks and data to sharpen analysis of areas of contested, shifting, and limited authority, relevant to significant national defense priorities.
