Professional Bio

Lindsay Walsh is a PhD student at the Pennsylvania State University. She is pursuing a dual-title PhD in Political Science and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her major field of study is comparative politics. She received her B.A. in Political Science from Skidmore College in 2020. Her primary research interest is on women's participation in formal politics. Her research focuses on the policies that political institutions implement to improve gender equity and the impact that these policies have on women's ability to provide substantive representation.
