Professional Bio

Emily (Yue) Wang is an incoming first-year graduate student at Penn State. She comes to Penn State from Wake Forest University where she was a double major in Politics & International Affairs and Statistics. Wang’s main subfields are IR and Methodology. Her substantive research interests involve interstate and intrastate conflicts and international development. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and hiking. A fun fact about her is that her hometown is famous for spicy food, but she has a very low spice tolerance.
