Pamela Carey

Professional Bio
Pamela Carey is a first-year graduate student in Political Science and Social Data Analytics. Originally from Long Island, New York, she recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Information and Cyber Security and a Master of International Affairs from Penn State. She is excited to return as a Walker Graduate Assistant at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL). She is particularly interested in nuclear deterrence, political extremism, misinformation and disinformation, and the ways factors such as identity, norms, and perceptions shape state decision-making. In her free time, Pamela enjoys music, amateur genealogy, studying AI prompt engineering, and true crime. A fun fact about her is that she competed as a solo cellist for about nine years.
