Professional Bio

Madison Mendiola is a first-year graduate student coming to Penn State to study American Political Science. She attended undergrad at the University of North Florida, where she double majored in Political Science and Philosophy. Her research interests are focused on the American judicial system, especially looking at how external actors influence federal judicial decision making. She loves to read across all genres, and will gladly talk about anything from dry legal history to the newest horror books. Before coming to Penn State she worked at an escape room, and makes it a habit to play escape rooms whenever she visits a new city.
