Professional Bio

Zachary Miller is a first-year graduate student in Comparative Politics. He is coming to Penn State after finishing his Bachelor's degrees in Government and Politics and Geography at the University of Maryland, though he originally is from Minnesota. His research interests include political behavior, in particular how it is shaped by the individual's personal experiences. He is particularly interested in the role of a person's geographic situation and digital media, and observing these effects in authoritarian contexts. A fun fact about him is that he has twice appeared on TV news, including once on national TV.
