Professional Bio

Yidan Sun is a first-year Ph.D. student. Her research interests involve authoritarian politics, political behavior and environmental politics. In particular, she’s interested in how factors such as nationalism or climate change affect political engagement, and the broader implications for regime stability. Before joining Penn State, she worked for an international environmental protection organization.
