Professional Bio

Osman Berke Yildrim is a first-year graduate student in Political Science at Penn State. He comes from Sabancı University, where he completed his MA in Political Science, and holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Computer Science & Engineering. His research interests include historical political economy, state capacity, and electoral behavior, with a particular focus on long-term institutional persistence. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and trying new foods. A fun fact about him is that he was the MC for all major events at his high school.
