Professional Bio

Jody Park is a first-year Ph.D. student in Political Science and Social Data Analytics at Penn State. Her research focuses on American politics, emphasizing race and ethnicity politics, public policy, social inequality, and migration. She is particularly interested in how racial and ethnic diversity shapes American politics. Before joining Penn State, she received a Master’s in Development Policy with a specialization in Data Science from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management in South Korea and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada.
