This past weekend, political science student Lily Sabine attended the 2026 American Political Science Association conference in Boston, MA. Over the course of the last year, Lily has worked with Dr. Justin Crofoot on a research project investigating the effects of distrust in government on presidential vote choice. Lily presented their work at the conference and met with political scientists from across the globe. In their project, they find evidence that distrust leads voters toward outsider and third-party candidates. Great work from one of our undergraduate researchers in political science!
