Michael J. Nelson, professor and head of the Department of Political Science in Penn State’s College of the Liberal Arts, co-authored the book The Efficacy of Judicial Review: The Rule of Law and the Promise of Independent Courts with co-authors Amanda Driscoll and Jay N. Krehbiel and published by Cambridge University Press. The book examines how citizens in the United States, Germany, Poland and Hungary respond when presidents or prime ministers ignore court decisions and what those reactions mean for the rule of law.
Congratulations Professor Nelson!
