2021 International Politics Student Marshal, Emily Kiver

Escorting Faculty Marshal: Susan Welch, Professor of Political Science 

Emily is the daughter of Christopher and Nicola Kiver of State College, Pennsylvania. A Paterno Fellow and Schreyer Scholar, she is graduating with a B.A. degree in International Politics, a B.S. degree in Earth Science and Policy, and a minor in French. Some of her involvements at Penn State include being a research assistant to Susan Welch (professor of political science and former dean of the College of the Liberal Arts), a policy internship with the Pennsylvania Solar Center, and captain of the Women’s Club Ultimate Frisbee team. After graduation, Emily hopes to work in climate policy analysis, research, or advocacy in Washington, D.C.
