2 Political Science Staff members win awards at 2019 Liberal Arts Staff Awards

Angela Hill won the Liberal Arts Ambassador Award and Aimee Grugan won the Staff Excellence Award at this years Liberal Arts Staff Awards ceremony.

Congratulations to Political Science staff members Angela Hill and Aimee Grugan. They both received an award at this years 2019 Liberal Arts Staff Awards.

Angela Hill has served as Political Science Undergraduate Staff Coordinator for almost 13 years. She received the Liberal Arts Ambassador Award. This award provides recognition to employees who demonstrate an outstanding and enthusiastic attitude, works to build a positive atmosphere of trust and mutual respect, serves as a model for collaboration and collegiality, and exhibits genuine appreciation for others, valuing diversity by treating everyone with respect. 

Aimee Grugan has served at Political Science Department Head Staff Assistant for 5 years. She received the Liberal Arts Staff Excellence in Sustainability Award. This award provides recognition to employees whose commitment to sustainability is exceptional and best exemplifies professionalism and dedication to the mission of the College and the University.  Penn State’s Sustainability Strategic Plan defines sustainability “the simultaneous pursuit of human health and happiness, environmental quality, and economic well-being for current and future generations.”
