Research Group
U.S. PIRG, the federation of State Public Interest Research Groups.
As a graduating senior you are no doubt trying to decide what you will do next year, or even for the next 5 years.
www.uspirg.org/jobs
U.S.PIRG is a federation of state-based public interest advocacy groups. This year they are hiring 100 graduating college students for positions all across the country to determine where this country is going: to solve our energy problems; to reform the campaign finance system; to safeguard individuals from identity theft; to fight hunger and homelessness; and make an impact on many other public interest issues.
Allison Cairo has been working with USPIRG since she graduated from college seven years ago. Right out of college, she was organizing a campaign to improve Massachusetts water quality, and engaging hundreds of college students in efforts across the state. Now, she is the Executive Director of NJPIRG, and she oversees work in New Jersey on college campuses, and in our state lobby office, to mobilize thousands of young voters, get cancer-causing chemicals out of children’s products like baby bottles, convinces Rutgers (New Jersey’s state university) to go climate neutral, and a variety of other issues.
For more information I invite you to check out our website www.uspirg.org/jobs , or send me an email at: acairo@njpirg.org.
