Description:
- Processing information for constituents who want the Pennsylvania of Department Transportation services, such as:
- Renewing auto registrations online and via Harrisburg
- Renewing Driver services online and via Harrisburg
- Dealing with all types of requests concerning the Dept. of Transportation.
- Helping constituents solve problems with any state agency and some private businesses.
Handling phone requests, walk-in requests, letter, email and any referrals.
- Make sure that all state materials are displayed, copied and accounted for so they are available for the public, which includes ordering, copying and keeping an inventory.
- Setting up appointments for the Senator. Handling invitations to events etc. on the Senator’s behalf. Writing recommendation letters and letters concerning issues and concerns.
- Handling Non-Civil and Civil- Service applications for employment. Helping constituents learn more about these opportunities with online help, resumes etc.
- Sometimes it is necessary to set up meetings to resolve problems, someone may need to attend along with or on behalf of the office.
