Mentorship and Advising Program

Our Department has approximately 5,000 living alumni, many of whom retain ties and connections to the Department. Several of our alumni have helped to arrange career and internship opportunities for our current students. Hundreds support the Department’s undergraduate programs through cash gifts, which fund various enrichment opportunities for our students (study abroad, internships, and research expenses). Many others have agreed to lend an ear and provide advice to current students, by participating in the Alumni Mentorship and Advising Program.

The following alumni have agreed to serve as informal advisors to our current students. The biographical information we provide through the links below provides a guide to the experiences each person has had since leaving Penn State. If the individual has provided contact information, we have included it with the understanding that students and recent Penn State graduates who have questions about career paths, courses, internships, or other related items may contact them.

Note that the alumni lists within each sector are arranged in alphabetical order by first name. Our alumni include a great number of professionals in the law and related fields, in government or in positions where they deal with government, and in various private sector places of employment. Please read through each list and find an alumnus/a or several alumni who have career experiences you would like to know more about. Then feel free to contact them with your questions.
