Brief Biography

Ph.D., University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, 1971; Emeritus Professor of political science. Specializes in American politics, environment and energy policy, and risk communications. Came to Penn State in 1971 from University of North Carolina. Currently the Director of the Decision, Risk and Management Sciences Program at the National Science Foundation.
