Aubrey Waddick has been awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship

Aubrey Waddick, Penn State graduate student in Political Science, has been awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.   Her research examines the political implications of Chinese firms’ foreign direct investment in other regimes, with the expectation that Chinese investment will increase corruption, thereby providing increased support to autocratic elites.  Her research will use firm-level survey experiments to test these theories.   Aubrey came to Penn State from Augustana College, and is completing her Master’s thesis this year.
